BCC All Emails sends a blind copy (BCC) of every email your site sends to one or more addresses you choose. The people the email was meant for don’t see the copy.
- Testing a new site: check the right emails go to the right people at the right time, from contact forms to order confirmations.
- An audit trail: keep a record of what your site has sent, for when a customer says they never received something.
How to use it
- Install and activate BCC All Emails from Plugins → Add New.
- Go to Settings → BCC All Emails and enter the address or addresses to copy emails to, one per line.
- Save. From then on, every email sent through WordPress is copied to those addresses.
Questions
Why wasn’t an email copied?
The plugin copies everything sent through WordPress’s standard email function, which almost every plugin uses. If one sends email another way, let us know in the support forum and we’ll look at supporting it.
Won’t this fill up my inbox?
On a busy shop, every order email is copied. Use a dedicated mailbox, or a filter rule that files the copies away.
What about data protection?
The copies contain your customers’ details, so mention it in your privacy notice and delete copies you no longer need.
